Currently the draft says [1]: "Comparisons on strings take into account the language defined for that property. Clients MAY specify the language using the xml:lang attribute. If no language is specified either by the client or defined for that property by the server or if a comparison is performed on strings of two different languages, the results are undefined." I think this needs to be rewritten to: a) allow a named collation to be specified instead of xml:lang (as per XPath/XQuery) b) maybe discovery of supported collations should be added to the QSD.
