ISSRE'2001 Student Travel Awards

CALL FOR PROPOSALS

ISSRE2001 STUDENT TRAVEL GRANTS

The International Symposium on Software Reliability Engineering (ISSRE)
is pleased to request applications for its ISSRE2001 student travel
grant program. The program was created in 1999 to encourage graduate
students participation to ISSRE. 

A travel grant ranging from $350 for students located in Hong Kong and
the nearby region to $900 for international students will be awarded
this year to meritorious students. The travel grant will cover travel
expenses as well as student registration expenses up to the specified
limits.  Students interested in participating should send a 1,000 word
abstract (upper limit) to the following address:

Selection will be based on the following criteria:

1. Relevance to the technical content of the conference;
2. Originality;
3. Technical Soundness.

The deadline for reception of the abstract is September 1,
2001.  Acceptance notification will be sent to the recipients of the
award at the latest by October 1, 2001.

The recipients of the student travel award will be required to present a
12 page poster during the conference and to send a short resume to their
sponsors. They will also participate in a Student/Sponsor session where
they will be introduced to their sponsors. Further details will be
provided on acceptance of the abstract.
