SSML parsing implementation at browsers

Presently SSML https://www.w3.org/TR/speech-synthesis11/ parsing
https://w3c.github.io/speech-api/speechapi.html#utterance-attributes is not
supported at Chromium/Chrome or Firefox, see
https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=795371,
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1425523.

Can we work towards creating an SSML parser which can be implemented at
modern browsers?
