Sorry but it seems the official announcement on the publication of the 10th Working Draft of the State Chart eXtensible Markup Language (SCXML) has not yet gone out from my email queue... SCXML is a general-purpose event-based state machine language that can be used in many ways. It can be used as a meta-language for voice dialog applications, and also as a controller for database access and business applications. There are various SCXML implementations including Apache Commons SCXML [1] and QT State Machine Framework [2].
