Dear www-voice, The W3C Voice Browser WG glad to announce the publication of the Last Call Working Draft of Pronunciation Lexicon Specification. http://www.w3.org/TR/2006/WD-pronunciation-lexicon-20061026/ Abstract: This document defines the syntax for specifying pronunciation lexicons to be used by Automatic Speech Recognition and Speech Synthesis engines in voice browser applications. The Working Group believes that this specification is technically sound and therefore wishes this to be the Last Call for comments. If the feedback is positive, the Working Group plans to submit it for consideration as a W3C Candidate Recommendation. Comments can be sent to this list until 26 November 2006. Max Froumentin for the Voice Browser Working Group
