Nuance is pleased to see the W3C Semantic Interpretation for Speech Recognition (SISR) 1.0 specification moving toward final Recommendation. We have implemented SISR in our high performance network-based speech recognition engine and expect SISR to be widely adopted by telephony platform vendors and by other users of automatic speech recognition. We note from experience with the current Candidate Recommendation and earlier drafts that SISR and the Speech Recognition Grammar Specification can be combined to build powerful speech recognition-based applications. The complete test results are attached.
