Dear Colleagues, In order to enable the reuse of the user's knowledge between different applications and devices, the most common spoken command vocabulary for ICT products and services for major European languages is being standardized. I would like to bring to your attention the release of the pre-final draft (only further changes based on submitted comments) of the ETSI Standard on "User Interfaces: Generic Spoken Command Vocabulary for ICT Devices and Services". It is available for download at http://portal.etsi.org/HF/STFs/STF182.asp. For your information, the following status applies: - Italian comments will be added in about 7 days - Acoustic discriminability test outcome will be added to other languages (English already covered). The deadline for submission of comments to hf_speech@list.etsi.fr is June 6, 2002. This is the last chance to comment!
