I think that the best solution is for each vlib home page to be
copyrighted by its individual maintainer, or their employer where
appropriate. This would legally protect the library as a whole, and
prevent commercial intrusions. Many of us cannot grant copyright to a
third party, either for legal reasons or because our work depends upon
the contributions of many others.
