Hi, I have trouble checking some documents because the… > Trailing slash on void elements has no effect and interacts badly with > unquoted attribute values. (1000) … message masks all other possible issues. The trailing slash is by design, so the document can be read as XML, and I write almost all webpages as XHTML/1.1 anyway, just for this one I need “loading="lazy"” so it cannot be that, so it’s sort-of-XHTML5 now. Please add an option in the 「Options…」 to allow trailing slashes. Perhaps (ideally, for me) even a tristate: warn if present, allow either, warn if absent (so it can be checked for consistency).
