Hi HTML validator team— for HTML validation requests (example [1]), could CSS errors be handled separately, and either be made opt-in (preferred) or opt-out? It’s counter-intuitive and a major usability pain to get CSS errors upon HTML validation. It makes the HTML validator harder to work with and actually less useful. Opt-in and separate visualization of CSS issues could be quick ways to limit confusion for users visiting the HTML validator for HTML validation. (Spelling out the obvious only to illustrate the problem this really is.) Thank you! Jens.
