error @ offline validator

Hi,

The offline validator always floods me with error messages:

*Use of uninitialized value $_ in pattern match (m//) at /usr/local/bin/checklink line 1296.
*
Nevertheless it seems the validation works correctly.*

*I know I can redirect error output to /dev/null to suppress the messages, but is there possibly a better solution?
I'm using Ubuntu Linux 22.04, Perl 5.34.0 .
