But the DNS RFC does not. It only requires that 2 ns records exist, not that they both be online. [image: Screen Shot 2021-10-13 at 4.11.35 PM.png] I know it seems picky, but that's really what the RFC says. Once you really think about it, it's more "that's the whole purpose of redundancy". It seems this is likely from being spoiled about having all this work done for you already but I doubt the RFC is going to change to go away from redundancy! Andrew
