When I used HTML 4.01, the checker correctly picked up ‘file not found’ errors by effectively telling me that it had checked the 404 error page. Now i have converted to HTML 5 the checker simply says that non-existant files are good and correct as it is checking the 404 error page. Therefore, functionality is more limited than it may be. Please could you consider putting some statement that the requested page has redirected to somewhere else? With thanks. Phil D
