Wilfred comments error checking HTML

I receive error messages upon
<https://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="https://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en">

The message was that I have to use http:// and NOT https://, so it does not like the secure version.
However when you type in the http:// it GOES to the secure https:??

SEO does NOT like the http://, it wishes to see the https://

Please allow both versions, so that no error message appears in the W3C HTML validator at the https:// version like I have shown you with the two above.

Yours sincerely

Wilfred
