synchronization between test past message and input form

The 'test passed' message does not go away when a new URL is typed into
the form.   This creates problems with co-ordination and makes things
very confusing.  A misclick on the run check button, and misclicks
occasionally happen,  leaves the interface in a a state of falsely
giving the user the impression the check has passed, when in fact the
page shown on the form right under the passed message may be far from
error free.  This is becomes nuanced when running a lot of checks while
multitasking other things.
