Re: Validation of Australian Government Locator Service (AGLS) metadata properties [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]

Hi Karna,

I see a bunch of AGLSTERMS.* values there, with the "Link to specification"
column for each listed with a link to a table in the document at this URL:

Properties in the dcterms and aglsterms namespaces
  http://www.agls.gov.au/documents/aglsterms/#DCAGLSNamespaces

But I can't find anything in that agls.gov.au document that says anything
about prefixing the values with "AGLSTERMS." Instead for each it just says,
e.g., "Term Name: act".

And it lists some of them as "URI: http://www.agls.gov.au/agls/terms/*" and
others as "URI: http://purl.org/dc/terms/*". So how are readers of that
document supposed to figure out that they need to prefix those terms with
"AGLSTERMS." when they use them? And if some of those terms are are
"dcterms", why are those listed on http://wiki.whatwg.org/wiki/MetaExtensions
with the prefix "AGLSTERMS." instead of "DCTERMS."?

And how are users supposed to figure out that they can use those as values
for the "name" attribute of the HTML <meta> element?

In trying to find documentation for users on how to use those terms, I
tried following the "aglsterms" link in the title of the "Properties in the
dcterms and aglsterms namespaces" table, which takes me to this URL:

  http://www.agls.gov.au/agls/

...but that's a blank page.

So, is there actual user documentation for those terms somewhere? Something
that explains how to use the terms in HTML documents?

They are not being accepted because I've not added support to the validator
for them yet. And I've not added support to the validator for them because
the HTML spec requires that anything that gets added must have a
specification/documentation that defines how users can use them in HTML
documents. And I've not yet been able to find any actual user documentation
for them.
