Dear Sir, http://www.commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:LA_County_Incorporated_Areas_Beverly_Hills_highlighted.svg I have tried to fix the validation of the svg-file mentioned above. I fixed it in inkscape. I did a validation test with the w3c validator and the file turned out to be *valid.* I uploaded the file to Wikimedia Commons. To check whether or not some errors were made during upload, I pressed the link in the template {{InvalidSVG}} on the Wikimedia-page. This time the site reported that the file is *not valid.* I downloaded the file from Wikimedia Commons to my harddrive and compared the code of the file with the code that the validator gives. They don't match. The downloaded file and the file uploaded to the validator give different codes. That is weird. I purged and refreshed the Wikimedia page. The result is the same. The codes are not the same. I waited two days to see whether or not it was a server problem. The problem still exist. Hence my conclusion: there is something wrong with the validator.
