that happens to users a lot and while the back button is an option, of
course a very standard one, still some users feel they are in the same
(referring) site and are confused at what they find. 

I suggest a soft landing with "you have arrived at the W3C validator, the
page you visited was ?valid, Please -click here- to return to the site you
were viewing"
