Hello, Olivier and the LogValidator team, thank you for making such a useful tool. I'm having a problem installing LogValidator and LinkChecker on my system. I used: perl -MCPAN -e'install W3C::LogValidator to install the package on my system. This seemed to work okay; no errors. It seemed to have installed all the LogValidator modules automatically, including W3C::LogValidator::LinkChecker. After editing the configuration file, I got this output: -bash-3.00# logprocess.pl -f ./logprocess.conf Reading logfiles: Done! Now Using the Basic module... Done! Now using the HTML Validator module... processing 4497 URIs (This may take a long time if you have many files to validate) trimmed list to 1216 URIs Done! Now Using the CSS Validation module... Done! Now Using the Link Checker module : checklink not found at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5/W3C/LogValidator/LinkChecker.pm line 93. -bash-3.00# I searched my system for 'checklink' but didn't find it. I verified that LinkChecker is installed: -bash-3.00# perl -MCPAN -e 'install W3C::LogValidator::LinkChecker' CPAN: Storable loaded ok Going to read /root/.cpan/Metadata Database was generated on Wed, 30 Jan 2008 18:31:05 GMT W3C::LogValidator::LinkChecker is up to date. -bash-3.00# Can you help me in understanding this malfunction and how to remedy it? Thanks for all your help and advice. -Kevin Kevin Zembower Internet Services Group manager Center for Communication Programs Bloomberg School of Public Health Johns Hopkins University 111 Market Place, Suite 310 Baltimore, Maryland 21202 410-659-6139
