The W3C Mobile Web Best Practices Working Group has released a Last Call working draft of its mobileOK Basic Tests 1.0 document: http://www.w3.org/TR/2007/WD-mobileOK-basic10-tests-20070130/ Members of this mailing list are encouraged to submit comments on the draft before the last-call deadline of 6 March 2007. Please send your comments to: public-bpwg-comments@w3.org That is a publicly archived mailing list. The mobileOK Basic Tests 1.0 document is perhaps of specific interest to members of this list because of the fact that the document defines a set of *machine-verifiable* tests that provide the basis for making a claim of W3C mobileOK Basic conformance. The tests defined in W3C mobileOK Basic Tests 1.0 are based on the W3C Mobile Web Best Practices 1.0 Proposed Recommendation: http://www.w3.org/TR/mobile-bp/ The Mobile Web Best Practices Working Group would like to ensure that the tests defined in mobileOK Basic Tests 1.0 lend themselves to development of automated mobileOK conformance checkers, so comments from developers with experience in creating automated conformance checkers if very much welcome. Regards, Michael(tm) Smith (for the Mobile Web Best Practices Working Group)
