The h3 and p tags in the following fail validation as XHTML 1.0 Transitional (and Strict also): <a href="http://www.pcpro.co.uk" > <h3>Category Name</h3> <img src="test.jpg" /> <p>Category winner</p> </a> This passes validation by wrapping the h3 or p inside empty object tags: <a href="http://www.pcpro.co.uk" > <object><h3>Category Name</h3></object> <img src="test.jpg" /> <object><p>Category winner</p></object> </a> Does the validator just ignore HTML that is nested in an object tag, or is this expected?
