If my memory is correct, it would be especially useful to have SVG in the drop-down menu because many SVG documents, although valid against the DTD, do not include a doctype. Is that correct? In any case, since said drop down menu is only shown as "extended (or revalidation)" option, I don't think it would be harmful to sync it closer to the list of document types the validator actually has in its internal catalog. I'll take care of editing the form's templates in CVS now. By the way, since you seem to be hacking on or around quite a few validation related projects, feel free to subscribe to the public-qa- dev list, where other developers are subscribed.
