It's fixed in CVS, you can either grab the updated version of "check": http://dev.w3.org/cvsweb/~checkout~/validator/httpd/cgi-bin/check?rev=1.432.2.6 ...and overwrite the one that came in the validator 0.7.1 tarball, or downgrade your Config-General CPAN distribution to 2.30 or earlier (but not earlier than 2.19).
