i've been trying for probably the last two weeks to get the w3c html/xhtml validator to work on my server, and i just can't get it to work. i followed all the instructions and every time i try and use it, i get the error message: "Cannot add named block <msg 1> to hash! Block <msg> occurs more than once. Turn on -MergeDuplicateBlocks or make sure <msg> occurs only once in the config. at /library/validator/httpd/cgi-bin/check line 311" i've been looking around the internet to see if anyone else has had the same problem, and the only thing i could find was an email on your mail lists, that had one reply and i tried what it said and it didn't help at all. i don't know i've done wrong, maybe having it insatalled in /library/validator? is apache 2.0.55 compatible with this validator? is Mac OS X? i've made sure that all the paths in the validator.conf file are pointing to the correct places (both in ...htdocs/config and /etc/w3c). i don't know what else i can say, i think that's all i can think of to mention. you can see the site at http://axman6.homeip.net/w3c-validator/ Thanks very much for any help you can give me, this is making me crazy.
