Suggestion to improve the WWW validator...

I'm using a tabbed browser and moving back and forth between documents while trying to migrate my content to XHTML 1.1 compliance.

I've seen similar tools to this one that make use of the document icon function available to most common browsers to indicate the success of failure of a check. Generating the appropriate piece code like this...
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="pass or fail.ico" />...would show a green or red icon in the browser's tab.

This may seem gimmicky, but as the validation can take a while to return results, I'm usually on a different tab while it runs. Seeing it turn green would avoid me having to check the tab.

Thanks for a great tool. I'm enjoying moving my site's content's into the next century ;)

Kind regards,
