So? The validator isn't an artificial intelligence, it can only compare a given document to the rules. It can't tell that you forgot a " character. <div style="font: 1.1em/1.2 Arial;><img src=" is perfectly OK under HTML DTD rules. It can only report on where you deviate from the rules expressed in the DTD, it can't tell you when you've made a mistake which isn't (and couldn't be) expressed in the DTD. -- David Dorward http://dorward.me.uk
