Hi all I was validating my first piece of XHTML code using the w2c validator earlier today and got the following confusing output from the validator :- Result: Failed validation, 0 error File: nl20.htm Encoding: iso-8859-1 Doctype: -//w3c//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN Unknown Parse Mode! The MIME Media Type (text/html) for this document is used to serve both SGML and XML based documents, and it is not possible to disambiguate it based on the DOCTYPE Declaration in your document. Parsing will continue in SGML mode. This page is not Valid -//w3c//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN! Below are the results of attempting to parse this document with an SGML parser. " With no error messages. Have I found a bug? Help!!!! Paula Thomas
