Dear www-validator participants. I am glad to announce a new stable release of our quality (and validation)-focused Web server log analysis tool: http://www.w3.org/QA/Tools/LogValidator/ This new release, version 0.4.1, is as usual available for download through several means, including CPAN[1][2] and a simple tar ball on our site: http://www.w3.org/QA/Tools/LogValidator/Manual-Get ** Changes ** In addition to fixing a few minor bugs and UI glitches, this version brings the following additions: - an option is now available to exclude documents or areas - The API documentation (easy to access at CPAN[2]) has been seriously improved and it should now be much easier for developers willing to play with the library and applications to do so. ** Feedback, Bugs and Contribution** Feedback on the W3C Log Validator is welcome, on this list (www-validator@w3.org). Bug reports and wishlist items are welcome on our public Bugs database: http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/ [Product: Log Validator] The Log Validator is free software, open source, with a very permissive license: use it, distribute it, play with it, add to it! Notes: CPAN - installation procedure with the CPAN perl interface [1] http://www.w3.org/QA/Tools/LogValidator/Manual-Install#CPAN CPAN - browse and search modules in the archives [2] http://search.cpan.org/~oliviert/W3C-LogValidator-0.4.1/ Thank you, -- olivier Thereaux - W3C / QA / Tools http://www.w3.org/People/olivier/ | http://yoda.zoy.org/
