You claim (using the rather nasty meta http-equiv instead of real http headers) that the document is written in ISO-8859-1. That character encoding doesn't include a Euro character. Find out what character set you are actually using (ISO-8859-15 is IIRC ISO-8859-1 plus the Euro sign, I believe that UTF-8 also includes a Euro character) and specify that instead of the incorrect claim you currently make. -- David Dorward http://dorward.me.uk
