re link checker rudeness

Regarding the link checker at http://validator.w3.org/checklink:

The link checker "yells" at users:

   What to do: The link is broken. Fix it NOW!

Perhaps it should be adjusted to just tell the user the status (that
the link is broken) and NOT try to tell the user what to do about it
(at least not without a "usually").  (In my case the referenced
resource is temporarily down, so "fixing" it is inappropriate.)

In any case, it definitely shouldn't scream at the user (doubly--with
capitals _and_ an exclamation point).
