i have several pages, that are wml and use the dtd "-//PHONE.COM//DTD WML 1.1//EN" "http://www.wapforum.org/DTD/wml_1.1.xml" these pages validate as "Tentatively Valid" i'm validating using Opera's Ctrl-Alt-V, which uploads to the validator. the reason for the Tentative bit is: "I was not able to extract a character encoding labeling from any of the valid sources......" I understand this is supposed to be supplied by the webserver, but in my case the page gets to the validator using the upload facility .... so, am i correct in thinking the problem may be Opera not sending any encoding info when uploading to the validator?? or have i mis-understood the problem?
