Hi! Thank's for a truly great tool! I don't know how people can live without it, which - sadly - many obviously do... However, since I'm using XML/XSLT to automatically generate the pages of my site, I end up with eight variants of each file (XML, XHTML, HTML and WML; all in both english and swedish). These pages are then served using Apache MultiViews and therefore it is not always the page seen that gets validated. The reason for this is that I use http://validator.w3.org/check/referer and the URL:s don't use filename extensions and that the validator doesn't use the same Accept* headers as my browsers. The easy way out for me would be to have some options controlling the validators Accept* headers, in my case mainly Accept and Accept-Language. E.g. http://validator.w3.org/check/referer;accept=text%2Fxml;accept%2Dlanguage=sv However there is always the possibility for me to use scripts to generate the correct link à-la http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http://www.example.com/ but that would take away the beauty of the simple referer-type link.
