sans-serif font problem solved!

Hello to all that remember =)

I was having a major problem trying to view the W3C site and any site that 
used the generic sans-serif font. Well, after much trial and error (and 
many helpful responses) I went through a program that I have that shows 
just what each font looks like as it names it. I deleted many a font with 
no results and FINALLY deleted the "Whimsy TT" font and my problem has gone 
away!!  It had to be a W - LOL!

Many thanks for your help. I was going to also send to those that answered, 
but I don't like to spam anyone's email addresses.  I hope this sticks!!
