The validator at http://validator.w3.org does support XHTML 1.1 as
advertised, if I put an appropriate <!DOCTYPE ...> in my files.

However, XHTML 1.1 doesn't appear as a choice in the "Select Doctype"
drop-down menu. Is this intentional, or did it just get left out of the
list accidentally? (I put 'XHTML 1.1' into the select menu inside my
local copy of index.html and also into the appropriate popup_menu() code
in "check", and it seems to work fine.)
