application/xhtml+xml validation?

I tried to validate such page today using the XHTML 1.0 strict, but the 
engine complained that the 'application/xhtml+xml' as well as the 
'application/xhtml' were unsupported mime-types...  The specific url I'm 
trying to validate is http://onee.yi.org/page.xhtml

AFAIK these are the mime types that should be used for this kind of 
document, or am I totally wrong here?
