Hi, http://validator.w3.org/ allows to choose the character encoding. Even if the encoding is bad, you can force it in the result page and it works. http://validator.w3.org/file-upload.html doesn't allow such a choice. And if the encoding is bad, you can force it in result page, but it doesn't work ( you just return to http://validator.w3.org/ page). So you can't validate a local page with bad encoding (or I'm a fool and the site isn't foolproof :). Hope this helps, Regards. -- Benoît Sibaud
