I have used the service a number of times and find it very useful, so I decided to place a local version on our school server to allow easier access by our faculty members. Problem 1) The first file I reviewed was in the in the Validator folder, document called: README.cvs It says to get installation instructions read the following page: http://validator.w3.org/source/ I have read the page numerous times and find no mention of installation instructions. Does any one have a clue where I might actually get a copy of installation instructions? Why not include a page on how to install in the TAR file itself? I've installed hundreds of scripts and I'm sure that I can review every file and every folder but it sure would be easier if this info was available. Problem 2) What good is a feedback page that hides the ability to offer feedback. Yes I was looking for an email address for someone to communicate with. Instead I am sending a message to a list of people most of whom may not want the question or care about the answer. I know it is a pain to offer feedback pages having had to maintain and answer all of the goofy questions, but at the same time, with a little effort you might easily create a feedback page that is very useful to readers and doesn't frustrate individuals who are attempting to communicate with you. Thanks in advance for any installation info you might be able to send in my direction. Lee Collings Foothill College webmaster webmaster@socrates.fhda.edu
