link validator vs. html validator

Hello,

When I validate my homepage, it gives me a short html code snippet that
I can paste onto my homepage. This includes the link
http://validator.w3.org/check/referer . But when I later use the link
checker, it reports that this link has changed to
http://validator.w3.org/ . It's not exactly the world's biggest problem,
but which address is the correct one? Please cc any replies to me, I'm
not subscribed!
