W3C HTML 4.01 Check

I validated my page as HTML 4.01 compliant, however, the background of the page is a shade of blue, and the W3C button I'm using seems to lack transparency, leaving a white block to the right of the icon.  I thought you may want to look into that and possible revise it so it's compatible with more web page designs. The button can be found here:
