BUG REPORT / FEATURE SUGGESTION
It seems that the new ISO 15445 DTD for HTML is not yet recognized by
http://validator.w3.org/ at the moment.
Example document:
http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~mgk25/gif-free.html
Resulting error:
Line 1, column 56:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "ISO/IEC 15445:2000//DTD HTML//EN">
^
Error: cannot generate system identifier for public text
"ISO/IEC 15445:2000//DTD HTML//EN"
(tested 2000-05-22)
The ISO 15445 standard and DTD are available for instance on
http://woodworm.cs.uml.edu/~rprice/15445/15445.html
ftp://ftp.cs.tcd.ie/isohtml/
It would be nice if you could add support for HTML documents that
claim conformance to ISO 15445. Thanks!
Markus
