I'd make sure you have followed some of the backwards compatibility stuff
for XHTML like instead of doing <hr/> you do <hr /> (or of course <hr></hr>).

And of course please provide an URL for the code you're having trouble
with. You didn't by any chance also include any PHP or ASP stuff and
got one of those with XHTML mixed up, did you? I could see myself not
being careful with the search/replace thing and causing some big loop
to crash my browser.
