Bug ID: 24561
Summary: <table border="1"> reported as bug, but is allowed
Product: Validator
Version: HEAD
Hardware: Macintosh
OS: MacOS X
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: HTML5
Assignee: mike+validator@w3.org
Reporter: guus.schreiber@vu.nl
QA Contact: www-validator-cvs@w3.org
Some time early this year the validator has started to give an error message
when encountering:
<table border="1">.
This is explicitly allowed in HTML5 [1].
Example: one of our PR documents, RDF Semantics [2], was pubrules-happy early
Jan, but now produces these errors.
BTW: validator.nu is happy with the document.
Thanks,
Guus Schreiber
RDF WG co-chair
