https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=22979 Bug ID: 22979 Summary: Validation over HTTPS fails, may be IDNA related. Classification: Unclassified Product: CSSValidator Version: CSS Validator Hardware: PC OS: Linux Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Other Assignee: dave.null@w3.org Reporter: Bjorn@xn--rombobjrn-67a.se QA Contact: www-validator-cvs@w3.org The CSS validator can't validate my website over HTTPS, while plain HTTP works. My best guess is that it tries to do IDNA but gets it wrong. The error message is "I/O Error: handshake alert: unrecognized_name". The URI I'm trying to use is: http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?uri=https://www.xn--rombobjrn-67a.se/ -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the QA Contact for the bug.
