Summary: Embedded YouTube videos lead to errors.
Product: Validator
Version: HEAD
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows XP
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: check
AssignedTo: dave.null@w3.org
ReportedBy: zck101@yahoo.com
QAContact: www-validator-cvs@w3.org
Strange errors, e.g.:
1.
Differentiation between SRC and src:
Line 642, Column 266: Attribute "SRC" is not a valid attribute. Did you mean
"src"?
…en" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/xVjzn81d26k&
2.
Commonly used <Embed> attributes are rejected:
Line 642, Column 455: Attribute "ALLOWFULLSCREEN" is not a valid attribute
…/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed><
The point of my adding this bug report is to note the fact that I cannot fully
validate any page that has a Youtube video embedded in it, which is
frustrating.
