http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=5240 Summary: fails by URI passes by direct input Product: Validator Version: HEAD Platform: PC URL: https://www.ispor.org/LogInAdmin.aspx OS/Version: Windows XP Status: NEW Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: check AssignedTo: dave.null@w3.org ReportedBy: william@eaglesystems.com QAContact: www-validator-cvs@w3.org https://www.ispor.org/LogInAdmin.aspx as a sample of a page that should (I think) pass. Checking by URI fails it on "there is no attribute "bordercolor" " which is not event rendered in a view source or pasted markup. It seems like the markup being checked by URI is not the XHTML rendered by the .Net engine but maybe legacy markup. Any thoughts? Bill
