http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=4259 Summary: CSS Validator appears to validate against CSS2 when CSS 2.1 is selected (file upload option only) Product: CSSValidator Version: CSS Validator Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows XP Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P1 Component: CSS 2.1 AssignedTo: dave.null@w3.org ReportedBy: jerome.coupe@skynet.be QAContact: www-validator-cvs@w3.org CC: ot@w3.org Hi there, Thanks for the work on the CSS validator (new version) When you use the file upload option and validate a CSS using the default option of validating against the CSS 2.1 specification, the CSS validator appears to validate against the CSS 2 spec (link to CSS 2 spec doc in displayed error) For example, it flags display:inline-block; as an error and refers to the CSS 2 spec document Online validation and direct input via textarea are both fine. This only occurs when using the upload file option. This bug has been confirmed here by Olivier Thereaux and other users <http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-validator-css/2007Jan/0064.html> Cheers, Jérôme Coupé International Polar Foundation Multimedia & Communication -- Phone : +32 (0)2 533 97 33 ---------------------------------- <http://www.polarfoundation.org> <http://www.sciencepoles.org> <http://www.educapoles.org> ---------------------------------- Technical knowledge is not enough.
