http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=3940 Summary: Fix (and document) X-W3C-Validator-* HTTP headers Product: Validator Version: 0.7.3 Platform: Macintosh OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Templates AssignedTo: ot@w3.org ReportedBy: ot@w3.org QAContact: www-validator-cvs@w3.org >From http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-validator/2006Oct/0120.html [[ Did somebody change the API for the HTTP header responses? Whereas previously an integer was returned, e.g. "6", it now appears that it returns such as "6 errors". Why was it changed? Don't provide stable- looking interfaces and then change them arbitrarily down the line! ]] Fix the templates, add mention of X-W3C-Validator-* HTTP headers in API documentation.
