http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=3140 Summary: Using direct input mode, validator breaks on seeing a valid @import statement Product: CSSValidator Version: CSS Validator Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows XP Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Other AssignedTo: ot@w3.org ReportedBy: cecil@cecilward.com QAContact: www-validator-cvs@w3.org In direct input mode, the validator seems to be actually trying to locate the file that is referenced by the @import, not just parsing the syntax. Poss confusion between case where it is given an HTML-containing-CSS file to validate and where it is given a reference to straight .css file or css fragment directly?
