[Bug 3099] Selector syntax: validator passes selectors that have garbage values for names of pseudo-element/pseudo-class

http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=3099

           Summary: Selector syntax: validator passes selectors that have
                    garbage values for names of pseudo-element/pseudo-class
           Product: CSSValidator
           Version: CSS Validator
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: CSS 2.0
        AssignedTo: ot@w3.org
        ReportedBy: cecil@cecilward.com
         QAContact: www-validator-cvs@w3.org

The validator seems quite happy with garbage pseudo-element/pseudo-class names.

Test cases:

*:hovverr {}
*:firrrst-line:hover {}
*:first-child\:first-line {}

Am I missing something?

[ Tested using "direct input > advanced > CSS 2 grammar" ]
