[Bug 1488] Validator results doesn't validate as XHTML

Now the validator says:

Sorry, I am unable to validate this document because on lines 523, 537, 544, 
558, 565, 579, 586, 600, 621, 628, 649 it contained one or more bytes that I 
cannot interpret as utf-8 (in other words, the bytes found are not valid values 
in the specified Character Encoding). Please check both the content of the file 
and the character encoding indication. 


and now I much much slower to load the page! (before was almost immediately)
